Long Weekend.

A little about this past weekend.

First of all I didn’t have much planned for Saturday but it indeed up being splendid!  I went for a with a great Hike along the Minuteman Trail in Lexington.  I went with one of my many meetup groups.  The weather could have not been much better.  I have been enjoying the 70 degree temperatures during the day and the cool night time temperatures.

On Sunday I went to church and then headed back down to Connecticut.  I meet up with the Bartons and we had dinner at one of the best all time haunts, Way Back Jake’s!  It was wonderful.  Afterwards I went along for a walk along the Colebrook Reservoir.  I also got the chance to help paint the deck.  What a beautiful night!

The next day I stopped by Camp Jewell and saw the progress being made on the Taylor Manning Project.  Afterwards I meet up with Ray and Julia Zetye in Norfolk where she took part in the Memoiral Day 5K Road Race.  They also brought along Percy who I managed to get a few photos of as well.

untitled-93untitled-85Finishing off my CT adventures I played Splendor with the Bartons and had breakfast with Pastor Ryan.  There is and always will be a special place in my heart for the hills of Northwest CT.
